About Me

I’m a filmmaker, photographer, and media archivist. My video work started in high school when I created my first documentary for my freshman English class a horrid Shakespeare doc with a three-minute gap of nothing and for some reason an Elizabethan hip-hop remix I made in GarageBand. This led me to join my school’s now defunct video production class and create my second documentary masterpiece on jazz drummers, where I mispronounced “Illinois.” From there, I moved into freelance video production, shooting all kinds of events, documentaries, and local advertisements. During the pandemic, I further found my love for media archival. As a photographer, my work has been published in newspapers, magazines, and other publications, including my local phone book. I’m currently working on two photo projects: DC on Film (part of which is available as a zine) and The Other Side. I currently work for an online news publication and TV station, providing most in house video production, including editing and graphics animation. Outside of that I also offer archival services for many types of media.
