Overall I&#8217;ve been happy with the lens except that the copy I found was not in the condition as listed on Ebay. It has some slight fungus inside along with what appears to be a slightly loose focus ring. Needed a good basic zoom lens to add too my bag for video. Especially for the meetings I&#8217;ve been shooting (I&#8217;m shooting one next Tuesday) Hopefully getting the speed booster I ordered by then. Up until now I&#8217;ve been shooting with a 12-50 kit lens or a 85mm prime. \u00a0Yea I need to invest in a good basic camcorder.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Things I like<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Good basic range.<\/li>\n<li>Good build quality<\/li>\n<li>Decent macro<\/li>\n<li>Very sharp for the price<\/li>\n<li>72MM filter thread (I can use my existing set of nd filters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">Things I Dislike<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>The macro switch is kinda hard to engage<\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s maximum aperture is 3.5 (2.5 would have been awesome)<\/li>\n<li>The FD mount (Never been a huge fan of it)<\/li>\n<li>My copy has what seems to be a slightly loose zoom ring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Heres a test I shot a few months ago.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Canon FD 35-105 Test GH3\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W2Tib1qYd2w?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I recently picked up a\u00a0Canon FD 35-105.
